ENJOY CAMPING IN THE FINGER LAKES

We have something for everyone here at Bristol Woodlands. Enjoy live music and community bonfires on special event weekends. Sunbathe at the inground-pool while your kids practice their cannonball skills. Play a friendly game of cornhole or giant Jenga at the pavilion. Watch the kids at the playground or reconnect them to nature on one of our 4 walking trails. If you're looking for something more relaxing, enjoy stargazing over a crackling campfire, listening to the crickets chirp or cozy up in a hammock for an afternoon siesta.

EXPLORE THE FINGER LAKES

If you are looking for adventure, we are the perfect homebase to explore the Finger Lakes whether it be by land or by water. The abundant hiking trails and waterfalls in our region will give even the most active families a run for their money. Tour our 11 Finger Lakes by kayak, canoe or paddleboard. And if speed is more your style, bring along your pontoon, speed or fishing boat. We have over 100 wineries, breweries and distilleries in our region and the craft beverage trails are plentiful. The campground is also located a short 13 mile drive from CMAC if you are in town to see one of their top notch performers.

I rarely am able to take time to write up a review (mom of two small children etc), but we had such a fantastic experience here that I wanted to make sure others know. Please note I am not a seasoned RVer, my family just rented one for the weekend, so I don’t know all the ins and outs of what is preferred for long term stays. That said, the grounds are gorgeous and well cared for. A couple of pretty trails cut through the forested areas. We stayed for the solar eclipse so it was in the off season, but there was a lot of variability with type of lot you can rent, which seems especially nice for those doing long term stays. The folks running the place are second to none in kindness and helpfulness. They had a pizza and viewing party for everyone who came to view the eclipse (which turned out to be a bust with full cloud coverage). Had there not been clouds this would have been a prime location! Gorgeous vistas abound. The property is tidy and clean. Can’t say enough good things. Definitely recommend.

We spent one night at the campground and in that time, did so much and had a blast! The cabin we rented was perfect! So clean, with enough amenities for us to feel very comfortable even while sort of “roughing it” with our three young kids. While at the playground We met Tom, who does maintenance on the property. He was so friendly! We swam in the pool which was spotless! The kids got candy and treats in the cutest little shop. And we enjoyed live music in the pavilion with the rest of the guests. We will definitely be returning!

We loved camping here! We stayed during the first week of April. First, the hosts were terrific. Though they have only owned the campground a short while, they know all about customer service, and embody it. They communicated with us before and during our trip. We were going to be late getting in, and we were easily able to keep them informed. They hosted on-site activities and shared that information via text. It was terrific to know what was going on and when. Next, the campground itself had a variety of sites, some surrounded by trees and others that were not. We brought our 22MLE, and my brother and his family rented one of the cabins with its own bathroom. We chose a campsite right beside the playground as our grandchildren were with us. Despite recent rains that saturated the grass, the playground was dry, and we spent hours there. The bathroom was clean and had a heater, which was nice. The showers were 25 cents for ten minutes and had good water pressure. There are actually walking trails throughout the property! In addition, they are building more cabins in the woods. My brothers cabin was gorgeous. The campground is only 15 minutes from Canandaigua, but it was a world away. This place has the convenience of town stores and sightseeing, and the relaxation of nature. We will definitely be back to this campground.
